在这个坛里看到这么多关于教育技术，教学技术，技术设计 / educational technology, instructional technology 术语的定义和探讨，非常惊讶。
本人的看法是：浪费时间。
委婉一点的说法是， 不需要这么多人，花这么多精力去探讨术语 / taxomony，或者教育技术历史，行业协会。
先说一下科技：纸，笔，黑板，电子白板，网络，电脑，智能手机，计算器等等，全都是科技。当前，现在提到的科技我们默认为电脑和网络。因为它们给社会带来了巨大的变革，因此很多人对把它们应用于教育也非常乐观，希望它们也能给教育带来革命。
在我看来，如果希望了解教育技术，以下书籍和文章就可以勾勒一下。链接提供的是简解

有人不讨论术语，但是已经开始研究电脑和网络对教育的影响，影响比较大的有 Larry Cuban 和 Henry Becker。两人在90年代论战。比较醒目的文章有
